Himalayan Holidays is a  segment of Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd., a well-reputed organisation who plans and organise adventure trips, especially, climbing and trekking expeditions in India. It is a one-stop platform that fulfils all your desires of hiking, trekking and expeditions in the majestic snow-covered Himalayan ranges in India. Whether you are a trained mountaineer or want to begin with small hiking, we have programmes to suite your specific interest and  personal choice.

With an experience of  42 years  in the field of  adventure, we have had the pleasure of welcoming seasoned mountaineers  and explorers as well as keen adventure lovers from around the world who have experienced and admired our services. We have handled over  500 climbing expeditions to the Indian Himalayas so far and  host am average of around 50,000 travellers every year from around the globe for services which includes climbing and trekking in the Indian Himalayas, leisure and group travellers, individual and family trips as well as students  educational excursions.

Over the years we have grown steadily and earned the reputation for providing safe and quality travel experience to travel enthusiasts coming to our country.  Be it a tailor-made holiday packages or one of our fixed departure expedition, we follow our basic principle to always keep our operating standards very high. We have built our strength in adventure tours over the years which have made us one of the most sort after adventure travel companies in India.

We follow ‘No Compromise’ rule when it comes to clients’ comfort and security. We are one of the first companies in the country to acquire satellite phones which is used for communication in the remotest areas for emergencies to ensure immediate help.  As a rule, we always keep a back-up plan so as to ensure that in case of any unexpected change in the program the customer is offered an equally interesting alternative.  Our strength is a team of well experienced, fully dedicated and committed professionals who excel in their jobs to provide the best for our travelers.
