Himalayan Holidays is a  segment of Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd., a well-reputed organisation who plans and organise adventure trips, especially, climbing and trekking expeditions in India. It is a one-stop platform that fulfils all your desires of hiking, trekking and expeditions in the majestic snow-covered Himalayan ranges in India. Whether you are a trained mountaineer or want to begin with small hiking, we have programmes to suite your specific interest and  personal choice.

With an experience of  42 years  in the field of  adventure, we have had the pleasure of welcoming seasoned mountaineers  and explorers as well as keen adventure lovers from around the world who have experienced and admired our services. We have handled over  500 climbing expeditions to the Indian Himalayas so far and  host am average of around 50,000 travellers every year from around the globe for services which includes climbing and trekking in the Indian Himalayas, leisure and group travellers, individual and family trips as well as students  educational excursions.

Over the years we have grown steadily and earned the reputation for providing safe and quality travel experience to travel enthusiasts coming to our country.  Be it a tailor-made holiday packages or one of our fixed departure expedition, we follow our basic principle to always keep our operating standards very high. We have built our strength in adventure tours over the years which have made us one of the most sort after adventure travel companies in India.

Shikhar Nature Resort, Uttarkashi:

Shikhar Nature Resort one of the best resorts in Uttarakhand and probably the only resort that provides a rustic as well as a luxury holiday experience at the same time. It is a 4-acre estate located 6 km away from Uttarkashi town on the way to Gangotri Temple, with an altitude of 1150m.  Accommodation is provided in comfortable Swiss Cottages near the bank of holy river Bhagirathi (Ganga) which flows down from Gangotri. There is a lush green lawn to spend your lazy days where you can enjoy the calm and cool ambiance of pure nature. We also organize a variety of adventurous activities to suit your requirement. It is an ideal place if you are planning for a family leisure trip or a getaway holiday on the lap of nature.
