Ladakh, situated on the banks of the Indus River, is a famous tourist destination of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also known as Last Sangrila, Little Tibet, Moon Land or Broken Moon etc. Apart from the main city 'Leh', some major tourist places like Alchi, Nubra Valley, Hemis Lamayoru, Zanskar Valley, Kargil, Ahem Pangang Tso, and Tso Kar and Tso Moriri are located near this area. Beautiful lakes and monasteries, mesmerizing landscapes and mountain peaks are attractive features here. Common languages spoken in the state include Ladakhi, Purig, Tibetan, Hindi and English. Ladakh is situated at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level, between the two major mountain ranges of the world, Karakoram and Himalayas. Additionally, the parallel ranges of Zanskar and Ladakh surround the valley of Ladakh.

Program

DETAILS ITINERARY:

Day 01: Arrive Leh

Altitude: 3,500M

Arrive Leh airport, meet our representative and transfer to hotel, check in and rest advised to acclimatizational in the high altitude. In the evening visit Leh Palace, later drop at the local market in Leh to explore the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Meals: Dinner

Day 02: Leh -Sham Valley - Leh (140 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx.)

After breakfast go for a full day excursion of Sham Valley, visit Likir and Alchi Monastery, drive to Kharu enroute visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam. Later return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Leh - Pangong Lake – Leh (290 kms | 10-11 hrs approx.)

Early morning drive to Pangong lake by crossing Chang La Pass (5,358M third highest motor-able road in the world) on arrival witness the amazing colour changing crystal clear water in the laps of mighty Himalayas. Later return drive to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 04: Leh - Khardong La – Leh (80 Kms / 3-4 hrs) 

Post breakfast we will go for day excursion to Khardongla Pass, consider as a World’s highest motorable road at 18,380 feet. spend 15-20 minutes enjoying the scenic beauty and click some photographs. Later return drive to Leh. Evening free for leisure at local market. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Leh Airport Drop (4 Kms / 15 minutes)

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination.
