Descriptions

The Markha Valley Trek is one of the most frequented and popular treks in Ladakh. It passes over three high passes and many villages and gompas. While trekking in this area, you will be roaming in a variety of areas with dry mountains, ravines, small villages, and fields of wheat, barley, and mustard. This region is a repository of ancient Tibetan culture. A trek in the middle of this area will be settled in your memories for a lifetime. The trek offers the most enchanting view of the Ladakh Himalayas. The high-altitude pastures of Nimaling in the foreground of Mt. Kang Yatse (6400 mt) are campers' delight. Activities: A moderately strenuous and exciting trek for the adventurous soul, which offers everything in a single trek that any trekker would like to experience. On a clear day, one can see Nanga Parvat (8126 mt) from Ganda La (4900 mt). It takes around 5 days to complete the 70-kilometer trek of Markha Valley. On the other hand, if you go here from June to September, you will enjoy trekking more.
