Program

Day 1 — Delhi to Manali

Board an overnight vehicle from Delhi in the evening toward Manali. The drive covers approximately 535 km and takes 12–13 hours via NH-3. Rest during the journey. Overnight in transit.

Meals: Nil | Stay: In transit

Day 2 — Manali | Acclimatization

Arrive Manali (2,050 m). Check into hotel. After breakfast, an acclimatization hike to Jogni Falls via Vashisht Village — famous for its natural hot water sulphur springs. The hike is gentle and ideal for loosening up the legs after the overnight drive.

Evening expedition briefing: route details, equipment check, weather forecast, emergency protocols. Early sleep recommended.

Meals: Lunch + Dinner | Stay: Hotel, Manali

Day 3 — Manali → Dhundi → Lady Leg Base Camp (Trek)

Drive from Manali to Dhundi (approx 14 km via Solang Nala Valley). Begin the trek from Dhundi into the Beas Kund valley. The trail crosses alpine meadows, boulder sections, and glacial streams as it climbs steadily. Set up camp at Lady Leg — a spectacular campsite with unobstructed views of the surrounding Dhauladhar peaks.

Trek Duration: 4–5 hours | Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner | Stay: Tents, Lady Leg

Day 4 — Lady Leg | Rest + Gear Training

This is your acclimatization and training day. The body adjusts to the altitude while the expedition team conducts hands-on instruction in crampon use, ice axe technique, rope handling, self-arrest, and basic glacier travel safety. This session is non-negotiable — everyone participates regardless of prior experience.

Medical checks (SpO2, pulse, blood pressure) are conducted for all team members. Equipment is inspected and adjusted for summit day use.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner | Stay: Tents, Lady Leg

Day 5 — Lady Leg → Summit Camp

Leave early after breakfast. Today's climb is the most physically demanding section before the summit — steep ridges, sharp inclines, and significant altitude gain. The pace is controlled and steady. On arrival at Summit Camp, tents are pitched and an early dinner is served.

Rest completely after sunset. Summit start is midnight.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner | Stay: Tents, Summit Camp

Day 6 — Summit Day

Depart at midnight. Snow conditions are most stable in the pre-dawn hours. The summit push begins with crampons on under headlamp, climbing through the final snowfield to the top. Sunrise from the summit — with views of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal stretching in every direction — is one of the most memorable experiences in Himachal mountaineering.

Descend carefully back to Lady Leg Base Camp before afternoon snow softens. Celebratory lunch at Base Camp.

Summit altitude: ~4,110 m | Total ascent time: 4–6 hrs | Meals: All | Stay: Tents, Lady Leg

Day 7 — Lady Leg → Dhundi → Manali

Relive the expedition as you trek back down to Dhundi, then drive to Manali. Check into hotel. Hot showers, dinner, and a group debrief — sharing experiences, reviewing photographs, and celebrating summit achievements.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner | Stay: Hotel, Manali

Day 8 — Manali → Delhi

After breakfast, check out and board the vehicle for Delhi. Arrive Delhi next morning. Expedition officially concluded.
