The expedition to Mt. Gangotri 2 is a journey that blends challenge and breathtaking beauty in the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas. Imagine it as a confluence with nature, where each step weaves a tale against the canvas of the Indian Himalayas.

Program

DAY 01: ARRIVE UTTARKASHI

On arrival at Uttarkashi, meet our representative and check-in at Shikhar Nature Resort.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in resort.

DAY 02: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI (DRIVE 95 KMS / 4 HRS

Morning, after breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi town to visit the local administration to complete legal formalities for the expedition.

Later in the day, drive to Gangotri (3048 m). On arrival, check in at your hotel or guest house. Later, visit Gangotri Temple and explore the surrounding area. Overnight stay in a hotel or guest house.

DAY 03: GANGOTRI – NALA CAMP (3780M) TREK

Morning after breakfast trek to Nala Camp. On arrival, set up camp for an overnight stay.

DAY 04-17: BASE CAMP – SUMMIT – BASE CAMP

The next 14 days are for acclimatization, establishing higher camps, and summiting Mt. Gangotri II.

Meals: All meals with high altitude food

DAY 18: BASE CAMP – GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI TREK: (9 KM/DRIVE 95 KMS)

The last day of the trekking. Return to Gangotri. On arrival, drive to Uttarkashi. Arrive in Uttarkashi and check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 19: DEPART UTTARKASHI

After breakfast, check out of the resort and depart for your onward destination.

Inclusion Details

• Booking of Mt. Gangotri II with the relevant authority, the IMF (Indian Mountaineering Foundation), and the booking fee.
• Accommodation on DBL/Twin Sharing Rooms in hotels, guest houses, and campsites as per program.
• All meals, as per the above-mentioned program.
• The national park fee and the expedition fee of the state government of Uttarakhand.
• Accommodation in tents during Approach March.
• Transportation by Tempo Traveler/Innova in Delhi and non-AC Jeeps in the mountains as per the program.
• Services of an experienced high-altitude guide and porter for the summit.
• All meals, including high-altitude food
• Services of an experienced and well-trained English-speaking tour escort and mountain guide. Cook and helper during trekking
• All currently applicable taxes
• First aid kit with Oxygen Cylinder
• Complete kitchen and camp equipment, including camp staff, till base camp
• Climbing equipment, Fix rope, Climbing rope, high-altitude tent, Carabiner, Snow bar, Ice piton, etc.
• Services of Porters and Pony for transportation of members luggage, maximum 40 kg per person, up to Base Camp and back.

Exclusion

• Personal clothing and gear required for climbing by the clients.
• Any personal high-altitude porter.
• Personal expenses such as table drinks, room’s services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tips, etc.
• Any additional expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to or circumstances such as weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots, etc.
• Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents, or loss of goods.
• Camera Fees.
• Any cargo and shipment charges (import and customs clearance).
• Personal Belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks, etc.
