When we think about Madaya Pradesh we think about 2 famous tourist locations that are Orchha and Khajuraho. Orchha is around 500 km from Delhi and a train journey from Delhi to Jhansi and a short drive to Orcha can cover this distance less than 6 hours time. This town Orchha was founded back in sixteen century BC by Bundel Rajput Rudra Pratap. Orchha is situated on the bank of the Betwa river, which is a beautiful place full of history. Khajuraho is around 5 hours drive from Orchha and world-famous for the intricately carved temples full of erotic sculptures. Theses temples belong both Hindu and Jain religion which were built between 9th to 11th centuries. These temples were rediscovered in 1850s after being neglected for centuries. During this tour you will experience ancient forts, temples. History of Indian rulers etc. Both Orchha and Khajuraho remind us of our past magnificent glory and incredible architecture.

Program

Day 1: Delhi - Jhansi - OrchhaYour journey will start from Delhi when you board the Shatabdi Express train to Jhansi Depart Delhi at 0600 hrs Arrive Jhansi at 1045 hrs and drive 18 kms to Orchha and check in the hotel.
Later in the day visit cenotaphs of Bundela Kings, Orchha fort complex, Ram Raja Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple.
Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Orchha - KhajurahoAfter breakfast in the morning check out from hotel and drive to drive to Khajuraho 195 Kms 5 hrs. Upon arrival check in the hotel and rest for few hours. Later in the day you will visit some of the famous temples of Khajuraho starting from Western group of temples and finsh with t Eastern group of temples. . These temple was built under the rule of Chandela dynasty from 9th century to 11th century BC.
Later in the day back to our hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Khajuraho – Jhansi- Delhi : By TrainPost breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Jhansi railway station (205 Kms 5 Hrs.) to board late afternoon train to Delhi.
On arrival at Delhi railway station meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to hotel for check in.
Overnight at hotel.

General Conditions:

All prices are subject to any revision of tax and tariff structure
The above price is valid till 30 Nov 2020.
The prices are on Per Person basis, Net & Non-Commissionable.
Upon confirmation of the booking, we would require 50% of the total invoice and the balance amount can be paid 30 days prior to the date of arrival.
We reserve the right to cancel the tour in absence of deposit/balance/final payment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt Ltd.

For cancellation made 60 prior to the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation fee of 25% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 60-30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice.

In certain cases, the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.

Unused Services & Refund

No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by passenger while traveling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier/ hotel/ tour company / or other suppliers used for providing services.

A refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.

If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, and meals, etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither India Travel Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.

Responsibility, Liability

All the packages are sold under the business management of India Travel Pvt. Ltd. and they are in no way to be considered as the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither India Travel Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes/riots, roadblock etc.

Governing Law

This condition and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation here to shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
